Doom. A truly classic game, it changed the world of
games forever. Released by id Software in 1993, it featured
stunning graphics and a fast paced gameplay.
Althought today's game are far more advanced in terms
of graphics and technology, few games have reached a
gameplay that is as involving as Doom's. And Doom has
not lost it's charme after all these years. Even today,
you can feel the special atmosphere in the cold rooms
when walking through the bases of Phobos and Deimos
moon, and feel the chilly winds of death in the hellish
levels of "Inferno".
Doom was also the cause that got me into the realm
of level editing. I got my first editor, DEU 5.21 which
I still use today (!), in 1994 and started creating
my own environments, traps and challenges. While my
earlier levels weren't very good and have never been
released, my mapping got a big boost when I joined the
Doom community in 2001. I also met a lot of good friends
there (whose website URL's you can find on the links
page).
This page contains all my released maps for Doom. Feel
free to send me any comments you might have about these
maps if you play them. I appreciate any feedback. Oh,
and of course: Have fun with the maps!
